Information about Music in the Chaplaincy
Chapel Choir
The University of Glasgow Chapel Choir provides music for services and events in the chapel and elsewhere, as well as giving concerts and recitals throughout the academic year, such as the weekly "Choral Contemplations" series in the first and second terms. It also records and tours nationally and internationally, has recorded several CDs, and is available for weddings and memorial services.
The choir is auditioned, with auditions taking place in Freshers' Week and Week One of Semester 1. Applications for membership outwith this time can be made to the Director of Chapel Music ([email protected])
Organ and Choral Scholarships are available.
Organ Concerts
Organ concerts take place regularly in the Chapel - each Wednesday during term time, at 1.10pm and occasionally at other times.
