Taizé prayers and music?
The Taizé Community is an ecumenical Christian monastic community in Taizé, Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy, France. Taizé is famous for a particular style of worship which incorporates prayer, silence and music, including repeated prayer chants. Our services are held by candlelight, with the lighting in the chapel dimmed, offering anyone attending the opportunity to listen to the choir and speech. Ecumenism (a movement promoting Christian unity among Churches) is the key to Taizé's appeal, making it a magnet for people of many different cultures and traditions.
