Loosely following the seasons of the church year, they take inspiration from the festivals and saints’ days that fall around each performance date. From Bach and Purcell to Poulenc, Britten and Rutter, the music is drawn from a variety of traditions and styles, with popular favourites and less well-known repertoire including the Scottish premieres of several pieces by James MacMillan. Each service and recital also features organ music played by Kevin Bowyer, University Organist and internationally renowned recitalist.

Entry to services and recitals is free and all are very welcome, whatever your background or beliefs.

Details of the repertoire which will be performed is available under in each event in the Calendar.

Tune in via webcam

http://www.chapelchoir.org/1/post/2011/08/tune-in-via-webcam.html

http://www.chapelchoir.org/1/post/2011/08/tune-in-via-webcam.html#comments

Uncategorized

The Memorial Chapel is equipped with a webcam which broadcasts pictures and sound from the building 24 hours each day.
